The Benchmade Griptilian is a beefed up version of the Benchmade Bugout, weighing 3.88oz VS the Bugout 1.85oz.

The blade of the Griptilian is made from high-end CPM-S30V steel with an overall blade length of 3.45" (8.76cm)

CPM-S30V steel is known to be the ultimate EDC (everyday carry) Steel and has very good edge retention, corrosion resistance, and sharpenablilty.

The Benchmade Griptilian is a no-nonsense daily carry knife that features strong and lightweight textured Noryl GTX handles; a blend of polyamide (PA) and modified polyphenylene. This material aids in water and heat resistance.

Double 420J stainless liners add strength and durability to the handle design.

The overall open length of Griptilian is 8.07" (20.50cm).

Featuring an AXIS lock mechanism; The AXIS lock is totally ambidextrous and allows for easy one-handed opening and closing of the blade without your fingers ever being in the path of the blade.

The design is very intuitive to operate with little or no instruction needed on how the lock functions.

The Griptilian has also a slightly thicker blade than the Benchmade Bugout at 0.115" (2.921mm) vs 0.090" (2.29mm).
