The Tombstone Camp Axe
was born out of necessity for a strong and capable tool ready to tackle
any fire prep or shelter-building task, at the site or out on the
trail. This tall drink of water measures 12.0" with a 4.25" head length
and 10.0" handle. The broad head provides plenty of edge surface area
when striking, while the short and steep bevel naturally pries wood
open, requiring less force for splitting. It comes standard with a flat
hammer on the rear, which is perfect for setting camp stakes and various
other tasks requiring blunt striking.
The Trenchcoat KG Gunkote
finish provides excellent abrasion, chemical, and impact resistance.
Additionally, every handle is lined with a polished brass accent, brass
screws, and features the signature Snakebite G10 texture, providing
extra bite in the hand and increased grip when operating in wet
environments.
