For years, we’ve said that the easiest way to learn the art of
locksmithing is to begin by removing a few pin sets from a lock, and one
by one, add them back as your picking skills imrove. Our Lock Picking
School-in-a-Box includes five lock cylinders, the first of which has a
single pin set in place, with each lock becoming progressively more
difficult, the last lock containing a full number of five pin sets.
Our improved Lock Picking School in a Box now includes repinnable
locks, allowing the user to change the pin combinations in them, to
expand his skill, offering more versatility and difficulty in picking.
We’ve improved a number of features in this popular instructional set
including:
- Five easy-to-repin locks: Pin are easy to replace by removing the lock’s outer shell. Locks fit pins with .115” diameter.
- Lock can be installed with the pins at the top or bottom: Simply
snap the lock into the clear PC insert, and tighten the insert in the
stand with the pins at the top or bottom.
- Improved stand design.
Also included are 4 lock picks, 1 tension tool, and the instructional
book, "Easy Pickings". This “Progressive Learning System” is a proven
method of learning to help the beginning locksmith develop all the
skills needed to master pin-tumbler lock picking.
