The Savotta Kukkaro Hip Pack is a compact, rugged waist pack built for carrying small essentials while keeping them organized and easy to access. Designed in Finland and made in the EU, the Kukkaro offers a practical 1.5-litre layout for outdoor, hiking, camping, travel, work, field, and everyday carry use.
With approximately 1.5 litres of capacity, the Kukkaro is ideal for carrying items such as keys, wallet, phone, multitool, lighter, gloves, snacks, compact first aid supplies, navigation items, or other small personal gear. The large zippered main compartment provides secure storage, while the internal layout includes one large flat compartment, two smaller flat compartments, elastic loops, tie-down points, and an 18 x 10 cm internal loop surface for hook-backed organizers.
The Kukkaro includes a 25 mm SR buckle waist belt attached to stabilizing side wings, with an adjustment range of approximately 48–144 cm. A flat open-sided compartment on the body side allows the belt to be stowed when not in use and can also function as a large belt loop for carrying the pack on another belt or backpack hip belt.
For modular attachment, the exterior includes 1 x 2 PALS webbing on both side wings and 1 x 3 PALS webbing on the bottom. These attachment points can be used for small pouches, elastic cord, accessory mounting, or securing the pack to other gear. A 12 x 5 cm exterior loop panel provides space for patches or identifiers, while bottom drainage grommets help release water and debris.
Built from 500D Cordura with polyester webbing, the Savotta Kukkaro Hip Pack is a durable and compact carry solution for demanding Canadian conditions. It is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a small waist pack, compact outdoor pouch, travel hip pack, or rugged everyday carry organizer in Canada. Product details are based on Savotta’s listed specifications for the Kukkaro Hip Pack.
