The Mystery Ranch Komodo Dragon Pack is a mid-sized 39.8L tactical backpack designed for extended field operations, professional use and multi-day load carriage. Slightly larger than the Mystery Ranch 3 Day Assault, it provides additional capacity while maintaining a streamlined and highly mobile design.
The adjustable Futura Frame and yoke system allow the pack to be fitted to different torso lengths for improved comfort and load distribution. Mystery Ranch’s removable BVS — Bolstered Ventilation and Stability — system helps stabilize the pack when worn over protective equipment. The bolsters can also be removed when a lower-profile configuration is preferred.
Mystery Ranch’s signature 3-ZIP opening provides rapid access to the entire main compartment without requiring the user to unpack equipment from the top. Internal organization includes detail pockets, hydration sleeves, accessory mounting points and PALS/MOLLE webbing for configuring additional pouches and equipment.
The Komodo Dragon is constructed from custom-specification 500D CORDURA fabric with durable water-repellent and polyurethane coatings for increased resistance to abrasion, moisture and demanding environmental conditions. Water-repellent YKK zippers and reinforced construction further support dependable use in the field.
A stowable waist belt allows additional load support when needed and can be tucked away when operating in vehicles, confined spaces or lighter-load configurations. Exterior compression straps help secure the load and reduce the pack’s overall profile.
